Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, is the new face for Chanel No. 5. The iconic fragrance ad has previously featured stars like Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman. Chanel has turned to Baz Luhrmann for its upcoming Chanel No. 5 ad campaign expected to be released at the end of the year. Rabih Kayrouz Awarded with Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres de la Culture

One of our favorite fashion designers, Rabih Kayrouz has recently been awarded with the national title Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres de la Culture, by Aurelie Filippetti, Minister of Culture and Communication in Paris. The Lebanese designer was deeply touched with this award which has been established in 1957 to recognize eminent artists and writers, as well as figures who have contributed significantly to furthering the arts in France and throughout the world. In a heart warming thank you speech, Kayrouz stated that he is so proud to be rewarded with this medal which recognizes his long journey that mixes both cultures – Lebanese and French, quoting these few words of Josephine Baker which he considers so dear to him: “J’ai deux amours, mon pays et Paris”....

#LiveLoveLebanon: Show Everyone The Lebanon You Love

To promote Lebanon positively this year, the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism is encouraging all social media lovers to share the beauty of Lebanon with the rest of the world, to show what most people out there don’t see. People can capture a picture or video anywhere in Lebanon and upload it on Instagram with the hashtag #LiveLoveLebanon, or on the campaign’s official Facebook page. By doing so, Lebanese people will be portraying a positive image of their country.
