Atlas: Fondazione Prada Collection Revealed

Torre, the building marking the completion of Fondazione Prada’s Milan venue is finally open to the public, marking the opening comes Atlas, showcasing the Prada Collection. Atlas is a dialogue between couple Miuccia Prada and Germano Celant hosting works from the Prada Collection displayed in a sequence of environments incorporating solos and confrontations, created through assonances or contrasts, between artists such as Carla Accardi and Jeff Koons, Walter De Maria, Mona Hatoum and Edward Kienholz and Nancy Reddin Kienholz, Michael Heizer and Pino Pascali, William N. Copley and Damien Hirst, John Baldessari and Carsten Höller. UAE Design Stories: D3 First Time in Milan Design Week

So much happening in Milan and everywhere you look there’s something to see – an installation, a party, a new concept… This year we’re in favor of some of the new comers like Dubai Design District (d3) who is hosting an exhibition titled UAE Design Stories: The Next Generation from The Emirates at the recent Milan Design Week, The Pool NYC, Via Santa Maria Fulcorina 20, 20123 Milan. Bentley Launches their First Kitchen at iSalone

At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2018, Bentley Home presented Buxton, the kitchen with a couture attitude, designed by architect Carlo Colombo. For the first time, the Bentley home is enhanced by the kitchen environment, where the excellence of materials and refined finishes reflect the DNA of the English car manufacturer. An expression of the ideal Bentley Home residence, the Buxton kitchen is defined by a linear design enhanced by the richness of materials. The central island, made of larch, houses the monolithic Calacatta Gold marble top flared at the corners and characterized by a perimeter groove. Join Seletti’s Design Pride Parade at 5VIE District, Milan

Let’s take a look at some of the action that took place during yesterday’s Design Pride parade by Selleti. For the third year in a raw, Seletti, the Italian design brand, in collaboration with the Paridevitale agency, has invaded the 5VIE district with its fun and original spirit, promoting the most pop party of the Design Week: DESIGN PRIDE. The street parade crisscrossed the city inviting everyone to celebrate creativity and design by joining this alternative parade of floats, music, dancing and performances.
