Nostalgia Series Takes You Back to Lebanon’s 90’s Summer Days

Saccal Design House brings its Nostalgia series, a visual reminiscence of 90’s summer days spent in the mountains of Lebanon. Warm memories from a childhood filled with exploration and discoveries of natural treasures armed with curiosity. Taking prominence is a lost form of play using colored sand to create artistic masterpieces of layered sand in glass bottles, rocking on the porch and layering stones. Long hours and what seemed like short days spent in discovering new places to source this magical sand hidden deep in the mountains. Art and Reality: Colorful Ice Lollies with a Message

Mixed media artist Miss Bugs recently unveiled a new installation, entitled Do No Harm at Jealous Gallery in London’s Shoreditch. The installation consisted of 900 vibrant, colored resin ‘popsicles’, that in containing a range of pharmaceuticals, critiqued contemporary society’s obsession and consumption of social media. Miss Bugs continues to draw on the theme of addiction to digital technology, and how over exposure to news reels and digital feeds can act as an anesthetic and numb the sense of reality. Social media algorithms mean one becomes stuck in their own ‘echo chamber’, and can only gain access to content that has been externally chosen to be suitable for them. A Tribute to Karl: The White Shirt Project with Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne…

To honor the memory of Karl Lagerfeld, the iconic Chanel and Fendi creative director who died earlier this year, some of his famous friends have come together for “A Tribute to Karl: The White Shirt Project,” which reimagines Lagerfeld’s signature garment. Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Amber Valletta, Lewis Hamilton, Tommy Hilfiger, Alessandro Michele, Carine Roitfeld, Diana Kruger among others, will each design their own interpretation of Karl’s white shirt. Titled ‘The White Shirt Project’ it will be led by Carine Roitfeld, former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris and style consultant at the Karl Lagerfeld brand. The collection will be presented with an exhibition during the Paris Fashion Week in September. Since number 7 was Karl’s favorite number, a total of seven designs will be made 77 times and sold for 777 euros each. Lady Gaga Stands Out of the Shadow in New Makeup Line

Lady Gaga’s makeup line is finally here. Called Haus Laboratories, the line of lip glosses, lip colors, and all-over colors will be sold on Amazon.com in September 2019. There will be six shades in total, with glosses and kits of all three products according to Business of Fashion.
