Balenciaga Brings Technology to Style

The Balenciaga Summer 20 Eyewear collection introduces the LED Frame, combining a sleek new style with the brand’s continuous commitment to utilizing technology in innovative ways. The bold, rectangular frame sits on thick, tapering arms, one of which contains a lightweight LED system that illuminates the Balenciaga logo. The logo animates in multiple colors and patterns, controllable with a tap sensor. The logo lights up when the sunglasses’ arms are fully extended and turns off when they are closed, placed upside down on a surface for over five seconds, or tapped three times. The light can either blink, remain static, or fade from one color to another, in blue, red, green, purple, yellow, and white, depending on the wearer’s wishes. citizenM Unveils Never Lost – An interactive Installation by Emily Forgot for London Design Festival 2019

For London Design Festival 2019, citizenM has commissioned Never Lost, an interactive installation by London-based artist Emily Forgot. Through Never Lost, Emily and citizenM have strived to inspire playful curiosity, discovery and self-reflection as part of the journey experience. This is the first time Emily has created a truly immersive three-dimensional space. The maze-like structure is displayed at the entrance to citizenM London Shoreditch hotel until 30th September. “Since my first solo show during LDF in 2016, much of my work has been based on architecture and interior spaces – often with a surreal or fantastical element. Discover Site-Specific Sculpture for the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

The recent arrival of the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal located in the vibrant heart of the Golden Square Mile is transforming the city’s hospitality and entertainment offering. In line with the Four Seasons’ ethos of designing carefully curated spaces, the luxury hospitality brand commissioned acclaimed Montreal artist Pascale Girardin to create an original site-specific sculpture for the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. Suspended in the hotel’s open-air atrium, the sculpture, entitled Contemplation, is a centrepiece, evoking nature in the very heart of the luxury establishment.
