“Oops! I did it again…” who can ever forget Britney Spears’ song… She knew what she was saying… Yes she does it again, Britney Spears, the pop icon star, is now the new face of Kenzo’s La Collection Memento N°2. The luxury French-Japanese clothing brand is just the latest addition to Spears’ long list of endorsements, including Sketchers, Candie’s, Pepsi and Elizabeth Arden.
La Collection Memento N°2 focuses heavily on denim and was inspired by the 1986 Paris runway debut of Kenzo Jeans. But a more esoteric theme is “Icons”. The Kenzo motifs, the tiger, The Great Wave of Kanagawa…are all featured heavily in the collection as well as in the advertising campaign with Britney Spears.
The campaign, shot by renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh captures Spears in all her American Dream glory and beauty.
Shot in Los Angeles, the campaign is a bit cheeky, optimistic, and joyous – the perfect combination for KENZO – La Collection Memento N°2.
