This spring, the House of Christian Lacroix and Roche Bobois follow up on their successful collaboration from nearly two years ago. For this new opus, furniture pieces created by the House’s creative director Sacha Walckhoff are wrapped in dreamy flora and fauna.
This collection takes us deep into the daydream home of an imaginary botanist, a fan of Comte de Buffon’s treatise on natural history. With Birds Sinfonia, Lacroix’s flagship print this season, a flock of transformed birds in shimmering colors adorns the cushions of a sofa encased in voluptuous velvet moss.
Their plumage reflects the sound of their own song in graphic lines, adding depth and the illusion of movement to this luxurious design.
Here, the House’s iconic stripes mix their strict rhythm with the soft, colorful fronds and flowers found on the back of a screen, the top of a low table and even the porcelain vases in this new collection that is as vibrant as it is elegant and modern.
