Headed by 21 year-old Philip Post, the emerging Connecticut brand has received much publicity over the past year. Dertbag appeared on the Style Fashion Week stage alongside Alan Breton, Mint Swim, Romeo + Juliet Couture, Adriana Sahar, Andre Emery, Carmen Marc Valvo, Lotus Threads, Brian Wood, David Tupaz, Emma Altman, Adrian Alicia, Alina Petra Swim, Ydamys Simo Kids, Bahmardi, and Urica by Raquel.

We are in awe with the work Style Fashion Week has been doing. They are known known for supporting established, emerging and international designers since their started in 2011 and this season during New York Fashion Week, they partnered with Papertrail Magazine in effort to support the increasingly popular streetwear culture.

These young brands and designers, often the inspiration behind luxury giants, rarely make their way to the New York Fashion Week runway—operating under tight margins without corporate budgets to produce major runway shows.

Style Fashion Week helps to share the cost of these major productions—providing designers the platform to display their work on the same level as their luxury competitors. Style Fashion Week recognizes that these designers are a vital piece of the fashion community and will continue to work to support them.
