Beirut’s Galerie Tanit is hosting the group show From Sound to Silence. Bringing together 12 artists, the gallery aims to offer an insight into international and regional art.
Adel Abidin, Chant Avedissian, Cynthia Zaven, Fouad el Khoury, Haig Aivazian, Lamia Ziadé, Mohssin Haraki, Randa Mirza, Roy Samaha and Omar Fakhoury, Shirin Abu Shaqra and Ziad Antar will all present works in an exhibition that plays on the concept of sound as a force, a perception and a means of communication.
Through the use of drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, silent installations and video installations, this promises to be a most contemporary exhibition, one that will showcase the current wave of regional and international artists like few others.
The exhibition will run until 5 August
