Lebanon’s Galerie Alice Mogabgab recently participated in the renovation of luxury Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. Franco-Belgian artist Léopoldine Roux, represented by the gallery since 2015, was commissioned to deliver forty paintings that were especially conceived for the hotel.
Entitled Living Colors, and supervised by the Franco-Lebanese architect Aline D’Amman and Galerie Alice Mogabgab, this commission was executed between February and April 2017. The paintings were delivered in May and are now hung in the suites and lounges of the prestigious hotel on the Place de la Concorde which officially opened earlier this month.
The collection acquired by the Hôtel de Crillon consists of twenty paintings from the series Living Colors, thirteen paintings from the series Color Suicide and seven paintings from the series Happy Faces.
To celebrate this beautiful creation, Galerie Alice Mogabgab is pleased to present Color Escape, an exhibition of paintings by Léopoldine Roux, till 29 July 2017.
