Gucci’s Window into Today’s Obsessive Collectors

In today’s world there’s a number of eccentric personalities who passionately seek out to collect paintings, antiques, rare objects and other vintage collectibles. Often, these people  private hobbies occasionally leads to the creation of museums or foundations.

This season, Gucci’s Fall Winter 2018 ad campaign inspiration is drawn from what Gucci calls “obsessive collectors of art and artefacts”.

Set in rooms dedicated to a variety of collections, each image contains a character surrounded by their carefully amassed objects. The effect is a window into a series of intensely personal worlds, where abundance and personal passion are in the spotlight.
