As a global chain, Kempinski’s core value is to turn unique historical landmarks into luxurious travel destinations; Kempinski Summerland was yet another fruitful challenge. Launched in 2016, the property dazzled the regional community for its unique design and sentimental value; an ever-lasting reputation that was revived back in Lebanon.
Today, one year after the project finished, Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort has been awarded the “Hotel Renovation & Restoration” during the AHEAD MEA ceremony held at the Dubai Design week, for its exceptional design and architecture.
The ambitious project required an unprecedented level of care and dedication; owner representatives joined forces with a talented Kempinski management team, for the recreation of the renewed of Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort.
“This award portrays the beauty and effort shown during Kempinski Summerland’s renovation. I am very proud of the creativity and innovation put together by the team and congratulate everyone who was part of this and look forward to more achievements,” stated Daniele Vastolo the General Manager.
AHEAD, the Awards for Hospitality, Experience and Design, hosted by Sleeper Magazine, comprises four annual, regional awards schemes run over a two year period. This year in the Middle East, the ceremony saw leading owners, operators, developers, designers and architects gather to celebrate the most exciting new hospitality projects from across the region.
