Nadine Labaki is Elie Saab’s New Girl of Now

As part of the Girl of Now initiative, an Elie Saab brand activation supporting women leadership, empowerment and the importance of educating the youth, ELIE SAAB releases video of Film Maker, Nadine Labaki shot prior to winning the ‘Prix du Jury’ for her film ‘Capharnaum’ during the 71st International Cannes Film Festival.

In the video Nadine refers to film making as a catalyst for change. Through her latest film, she hopes to open the debate and make a difference in the state of children facing extreme neglect. The doubt she faced during her career fueled her towards success. ‘There’s no secret, when you work hard you get rewarded for your work…’

The video shot is in-line with the initiative’s practice of ‘leading by example’ through ELIE SAAB’s growing online and offline reach to spread awareness on global and regional opinion leaders, and their achievements, inspiring and encouraging the youth to follow in their footsteps.

The release comes after a series of videos previously shot with global influencers Winnie Harlow, Sara Sampaio and Kristina Bazan and reputable young entrepreneurs Lauren Remington Platt, Elissa Freiha and Noor Fares.
