One of the places in Lebanon we can call a gem is The Roof at the Four Seasons Beirut. Offering an experience like no other in the city, The Rooftop takes you on a sky-high dining journey amidst soothing, contemporary tunes played by an in-house DJ, a modern and welcoming interior and not to forget the illuminating Beirut’s skyline and whisking you away for a minute or two.
Redesigned by Rabih Geha Architects, The Roof, located on the 26th floor of Four Seasons Beirut, is decorated with a black onyx shiny bar and colorful mosaic as the focal piece, with mood lighting, beautiful plants and cushy, inviting lounges, that creates an art-like experience.
The Roof, which can welcome 130 guests, serves a long list of cocktails, including mocktails and classics; the Rousee with vodka watermelon puree, vanilla and fresh lime, a jasmine lychee liquor, fresh lemon prosecco and more and the list goes on.
A bit about the food…The menu is rich is with mouthwatering Asian accents: Prawn crackers with fish roe, salty, crunchy, perfect; Sake and salmon sashimi followed as did a Caterpillar Roll, an avocado wrap filled with shrimp tempura, more avocado and tobiko.
We dipped into the seafood menu, but there’s also meat and poultry on offer so try out their chicken satay.
The cherry on top, don’t forget to try their deserts… We tried the mini ice cream buns with grue de cacoa.
A place to enjoy summer nights, late sunsets and more, The Roof at Lebanon’s esteemed hotel, Four Season’s Hotel is a place to experience.
