Vibrating Autism Pop Art

One of the things that caught our attention during this years Beirut Art Fair (2014) was the work of the an admirable autistic artist Ali Tlail who exhibited his latest paintings titled “Vibrating Autism Pop Art”. We loved Ali’s Tarboosh art work, one of everyone’s all time favorites…

Under the supervision of the President of the Graphic Designers Union in Lebanon, Rita Moukarzel, Ali, follow in the footsteps of one of the most important pioneers of pop art, Andy Warhol, using pop art for authentic Lebanese products in his paintings, resorting to typography in writing the product names, focusing on both background and appearance.

With chalk pastels, Ali draws his portraits, which is a delicate technique and he also used cubism and pastels, which have significant impact. In addition, Ali displayed some paintings featuring nature and colorful trees.

Great to see talents like Ali around… Great job…
